Teara came by the studio on Bond Street for a test. I was just warming up to the studio, as I had only moved in a few months before. I was fresh-off of making tons of street art, and had work lying around the studio and my black lights were always hanging somewhere nearby. I wanted to see how well I could pull off a shoot without strobes – which turned out to be more difficult than I had hoped. So little light meant using a big aperture and higher iso – which means noise (Canon 5D didn’t yet have great low-light iso settings, unlike today’s camera’s amazing sensitivity). None-the-less I still got some great stuff, and I love the look…but it was a learning experience I tell ya!
